Pittsburgh Vintage Mixer's mission is to offer the city of Pittsburgh a vintage event like none other found locally, joining cities like Chicago, New York, and London.
Started in 2011, we bring together local collectors and small businesses under one roof for a day of kitsch, conversation, and collectibles.
Our curated events offer high-quality, reasonably-priced vintage wares in a fun atmosphere, featuring local DJs, cocktails, food trucks, lectures, guest appearances, and special event collaborations.

“We’ve wanted to do a holiday popup for some time, and since we didn’t have a big version of the Mixer this year we thought this would be a good way to get some of our vendors together,”said Pittsburgh Vintage Mixer co-founder Bess Dunlevy. “People are out shopping for the holidays and looking for unusual things. With the indoor and outdoor space, plus food, drinks and live music, it just made sense to do it here.”
Every year there's a local gathering of people who love to buy and sell cool old stuff. It's called the Pittsburgh Vintage Mixer, and on April 12, 2014, I went to check out what was for sale. Held this year at the Heinz History Center, the Vintage Mixer was a chance to browse and purchase some of the most unusual and classic merchandise anywhere around here.
Twice a year, dozens of the coolest vintage vendors come together at the Teamsters Temple in Lawrenceville to bring you the best selection of unique clothing, trinkets, and furniture. The event is held once in the spring and once in the winter, and if you’re a fan of the products of yesteryear, you can’t afford to miss it. Last year’s vendors included several of those listed here, and the selection is always hand-picked to perfection. Keep your eye out for date announcements, because there’s usually a pre-sale the night before the event takes place.
Conversation hearts are cute but what if you’re looking for more of an R-rated Valentine’s Day experience? Get flushed (and not just from the wine) when Pittsburgh Vintage Mixer hosts its second adult-themed pop-up market. Curating a selection at Lorelei — an Alpine wine and cocktail bar, beer hall and bottle shop all under one roof — the mischievous market is open from 4 to 9 p.m. The playful vibe will be hot in the city as you peruse all things “tawdry, kitschy and sex positive.” While you sip, shop for lingerie, leather, vintage Valentines Day’s cards, naughty nostalgia, risqué records and scandalous gifts. DJ Formosa provides the sultry soundtrack and Lorelei offers delicious food pairings with its creative drink menu.
Furnishings, housewares, lighting and fashions from local vendors blend with music, cocktails and food as the fair returns to Lawrenceville
Pittsburgh Vintage Mixer celebrates its 10th anniversary this weekend, featuring more than 30 local and regional vintage sellers.
